Kaitlyn Frost - 18U Manager

Kaitlyn Frost has coached in the Scrappers Organization for 5 years and spent 3 seasons as our Director of Softball.

Frost was a 4 year starter at Lakeland High School and named the Offensive and Defensive MVP her senior year, leading the team with a .456 batting average.  Frost was also named to the All-Area Team her Junior and Senior year and was a member of the Indiana Northeast All-Star Game.

While in high school, Kaitlyn won 2 state championships and World Series qualifiers as part of her summer travel softball team. She was also selected to play for a Team USA through USSAI and competed against the Australian Olympic team in Sydney, Australia.

Kaitlyn was recruited to play NCAA Division 1 softball on a scholarship to Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne where she had an outstanding career as a versatile switch-hitter, and was a career leader in fielding percentage at .984. Here she also helped her team reach the Summit League Conference Tournament Championship game two years in a row. She was also named to the Summit League All-Academic team.

Jason Widmar - 14U National Head Coach

Jason will begin his 4th season with the Michiana Scrappers Organization and he has had quite a run.  Consistently working to develop his players has shown great results on the field over the past 2 seasons.  In 2019-2020 Jason and his staff look to lead a group of girls to the national scene and gain more exposure than any other team in the Scrappers organization.  This will be quite a challenge, but the team he has formed is up to the challenge!

Jon Dubree - 14U Regional Coach

This will be Jon's first season leading a Scrappers team.  Jon will work alongside of Jason and our National Team to develop and prepare his girls for High School.  Jon's group will be a more regional team, but still seek out the highest competition each season.

Holly Peavy - 11U Manager

Holly begins her 2nd season with the Scrappers organization.  Last year coaching a 10U team.
